meet annabel
Meet Annabel, our young and vibrant team member who brings a fresh perspective to play therapy! With a background in psychology, Annabel possesses excellent knowledge that enhances her work with children. Her fun and energetic approach makes her a favourite among clients, as she connects easily with kids and creates a welcoming environment. Annabel’s passion for helping children thrive shines through in everything she does!

why every step?
Annabel is passionate about early intervention and giving kids the best chance for success from the start! After school, she worked at an American summer camp and later as a nanny during university. These experiences showed her how much of a difference it makes to be a positive, supportive presence in a child's life, which ultimately led her to her role as a play therapist.
In play therapy, Annabel loves creating a safe space where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves and building their life skills. Watching her clients gain confidence and knowing she's part of their journey is what she enjoys most.
a little about annabel
Annabel is the eldest of three siblings and grew up on a farm in the Clare Valley. She loves playing team sports, spending time with her friends and family, and enjoying live music. One thing she’s not a fan of? Glitter—she gets the appeal but it's just not her thing. As for her favourite movie, it’s How to Train Your Dragon.

favourite playroom resource
Annabel’s favourite toys in the playroom are dollhouses and dinosaurs. She loves how they serve as awesome tools for role play, make-believe, and exploring relationship dynamics, among many other important themes. These toys offer endless opportunities for children to express themselves, navigate social scenarios, and work through different emotions.
favourite childhood toy
As a child, if Annabel wasn't outside, she was usually doing something crafty. She loved making friendship bracelets, key rings, and scrapbooking. For her, there was nothing more rewarding than finishing a project.
